TEXAS GOVERNMENT: TEXAS CONSTITUTION AND TOPICS (3-0-3) Origin and development of the Texas constitution, structure and powers of state and local government, federalism and inter-governmental relations, political participation, the election process, public policy, and the political culture of Texas. Students who have taken a government course at another college or university should contact an advisor or the Department of Social Sciences before enrolling in a Del Mar College government course.
