MUS 114 — C History of Hip Hop - Rap 3 Units

Term hours: 54 lecture. This survey course traces hip hop rap music from its inception to the present day. The music, both live and from recording, is studied from a cultural, musical, historical and sociological standpoint. Concert attendance is required. (UC/CSU, AA GE, CaLGETC)
