HIST 135 — C History of Africa 3 Units

Term hours: 54 lecture. This course is a survey of the history of Africa from the continent's earliest beginnings to contemporary times. A special emphasis is placed on the various cultures of Africa, demography and general chronology of the rise and fall of nation states, and the impact of Western culture through the colonial, neo-colonial, and contemporary periods.
