ENGL 208 — C Asian American Literature 3 Units
Term hours: 54 lecture. This course is a study of Asian American literature. Students will explore and analyze a variety of social and political issues, such as gender relationships, family relationships, cultural traditions, cultural conflicts, culinary traditions, and stereotypes from an Asian-American perspective. This course is designed to enhance cultural awareness and understanding, while also facilitating personal enrichment through the exploration of a variety of literary sources, including fiction, drama, poetry, journals, biography, and film.(UC/CSU, AA GE, CalGETC)
