CIS 164 — C IT Support Services 3 Units
Term hours: 36 lecture and 54 laboratory. This course is designed to teach students the crucial skills needed to work as an IT support in an Active Directory network or Windows workgroup environment. Students will learn the kinds of knowledge, skills, abilities, and strategies they need to be employable in the support industry. Emphasis will be placed on deploying Windows, managing devices and data, configuring connectivity, maintaining Windows, managing policies and profiles, managing and protecting devices, and managing apps and data.
