Term hours: 54 lecture. This course details the growth of the automotive industry in the U.S. from the late 1890's through the global business climate of today. Topics include biographical sketches of industry pioneers, geographical why's and where's of the industry, the roots of automotive design, and an in depth review of major engineering achievements.
