ART 222 — Painting IV
This advanced painting course is designed for students preparing to major in art or develop a professional-level painting portfolio. Working closely with the instructor, students will create a cohesive series of paintings that explore a personal theme or conceptual direction. Emphasis is placed on advanced painting techniques, complex compositional strategies, and the ability to document, analyze, and refine one's work. Students will engage with contemporary and historical painting practices. (CSU/UC)
