MATH 1530 — MATH-1530 College Algebra
Study of linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, radical, and piecewise-defined functions. Emphasis on function representation (verbal, numerical, graphical, algebraic), transformations, and analysis of function behavior including domain, range, asymptotes, and intercepts. Solve equations and inequalities algebraically and graphically. Includes modeling of real-world situations, use of technology to support problem solving, and development of algebraic reasoning skills.
