CNA/N 621 CNA/N 622 CNA/N 623 Certified Nursing Assistant This noncredit program focuses on the fundamental principles of basic nursing care necessary to meet the hygiene, comfort, and safety needs of residents. The identification and reporting of resident abuse along with development of skills in communication and interpersonal relations will be discussed. The role of the CNA as part of the health care team and practice of skills to pass the state certification exam are highlighted. The course follows the guidelines established by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
