Additional topics will include abrasives, coordinate measuring machines, advanced precision measurement, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), optical comparators, and practices and setups as applied in industry. MTT 1 10 - Introduction to CAD/CAM (CSU) Units: 3 Lecture Hours: 36 Lab Hours: 54 Outside Hours: 72 Grading Method: Letter Credit Status: Credit, degree applicable Conditions of Enrollment: None This course covers the study of the fundamental concepts of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM). Concepts explored will include the application of computers in manufacturing, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming, Automated Manufacturing, and Integrated CAD/CAM.
