The course will focus on trends in ballet and modern dance forms as they relate to 20th century aesthetic viewpoints. Attendance at selected dance events is required. It includes proper body alignment, flexibility, strength and coordination. The basic dance techniques that will be studied are ballet, jazz dance, modern dance and ethnic dance forms.
