ENGL 1010 - English Composition I ENGL 1010 - English Composition I The ENGL 1010 course introduces students to writing and evaluating expository essays, developing awareness of rhetorical modes and techniques used in academic writing, and incorporating research and documentation. Students must take this course as a degree requirement. *Students with an ACT English score of 32 or above receive credit for ENGL 1010 and ENGL 1020.
