SDEV 3310 - API Development SDEV 3310 - API Development An introduction to Application Programming Interface (API) design in the context of client-server architecture. Topics include client-server architecture, Representational State Transfer (REST) architectural style, interactions with REST resources using Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) operations and HTTP, REST API design using OpenAPI Specification, synchronous vs. asynchronous APIs, and API conformance verification. Programs will be implemented in an appropriate object-oriented language. Lab Required: Yes Prerequisite(s): COSC 2436 and ITSE 1350 Type of Course: Upper Division - Workforce
