MUEN 1153 - Chamber Choir MUEN 1153 - Chamber Choir Examples of small vocal ensembles may include but are not limited to glee club, madrigals, opera/musical theater, commercial, and folk. Additionally, a select audition-only choir devoted to performance of an eclectic repertory of choral literature for mixed voices (S.A.T.B.). This course will focus on the development of vocal technique, performance practices, and will culminate with several performances throughout the year both on and off campus. This group may have an annual tour. Repertoire consists of advanced collegiate music. Ensembles are for individuals with no less than intermediate proficiency of their instrument and are not intended for introductory instruction. Assessment will occur through a standard audition before enrollment to confirm that minimum proficiency levels are met. Students who do not meet minimum levels of proficiency may be advised into alternative course options. Lab Required: Yes Note: Students may take MUEN 1151 , MUEN 1152 , MUEN 1153, and MUEN 1154 for a combined total of no more than 8 credit hours. Type of Course: Academic Transfer
