Study of Native American literature as a lens for the experience, culture, and history of Native people within larger American historical contexts. By integrating active learning strategies, coursework focuses on the multicultural nature of Native American literature and on the strategies with which Native writers mediate imbalances of power and systems of oppression within the Americas.
