The purpose of the 500-hour Barber Teacher Training Program is to provide licensed students with at least three years of industry experience the opportunity to prepare, train, and develop skills necessary to teach a Barber program or any practices related to the Barber industry. This training will allow individuals to enter a skilled workforce, promote personal and economic growth, contribute to community stability, and provide and improve quality of life. This program is intended for anyone with an active State of Illinois Barber License and three or more years of industry experience pursuing a Barber Teacher’s License.
