RNSG 1361 — Clinical Transition
A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. Emphasis is placed on application of advanced concepts and skills for development of the associate degree nurse role with care of persons and families experiencing chronic illess/disorders, acute exacerbation of chronic illness, and long-term health care needs in a variety of acute care, long-term and COURSE DESCRIPTIONS extended care settings, including the home and community. These settings provide opportunities to explore the realities of the level of responsibility and accountability required for the registered nursing practice. Nine clinical hours per week.
