RNSG 1209 — Introduction to Nursing
Overview of nursing and the role of the professional nurse as provider in patient-centered care, patient safety advocate, member of health care team, and member of the profession. Content includes knowledge, judgement, skills and professional values with a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to a blocked approach. Two lecture hours per week. Credit Hours: 2
