Analysis and writing of tonal melody and diatonic harmony up to and including the chords. Analysis and writing of small compositional forms. Correlated study at the keyboard. Correlates with MUSI 1116, Elementary Sight-singing and Aural Skills. Three lecture/lab hours per week. Credit: 3 semester hours Co-requisite: MUSI 1116
