ENGL 2331 — World Literature

A survey of world literature from the ancient world to the present. Students will study works of prose, poetry, drama, and fiction in relation to their historical and cultural contexts. Texts will be selected from a diverse group of authors and traditions. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisites: ENGL 1301, ENGL 1302 “To avoid duplicate credit, students who take ENG 2331 should not take ENG 2332 or 2333.”
