Based on the requirements for the Child Development Associate National Credential (CDA). Three of the 13 functional areas of study include family, program management, and professionalism. Topics on CDA overview, general observation skills, and child growth and development overview. Three lecture hours, four lab hours per week. Credit: 3 semester hours
