BIOL 2421 — Microbiology for Science Majors*
Principles of microbiology, including metabolism, structure, function, genetics, and phylogeny of microbes. The course will also examine the interactions of microbes with each other, hosts, and the environment. Three lecture hours, four laboratory hours per week. Credit: 4 semester hours (transferable) Prerequisite: College ready in Reading and Writing, completed MATH 0401, Chemistry 1411 plus BIOL 1406 and BIOL 1407 or approval of Chairperson Business Computer Information Systems
