BARB 1404 — Introductionto Barbering Styling
The Introduction to Barber Styling is designed to provide technical and practical instruction covering all practices constituting the art of barbering, the practice of safety and sanitation in the Barbershop. The educational goal of the barbering course of study is to prepare students for the state licensing examination and for profitable employment as class A barbers. Students who successfully complete the entire curriculum are qualified to sit for the examination given by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Two lecture hours and six lab hours per week. Pre-requisites: Cosmetology License Credit: 4 semester hours
