PHIL 140 — History of Modern Philosophy
This course addresses 17th and 18th century philosophy with an emphasis on metaphysical, epistemological, political, and psychological developments of rationalism and empiricism in philosophical thought from Descartes to Kant and may include approximate precursors and successors. Special attention is paid to reading primary philosophical texts.
