PEX 153 — Meditative – Yoga and Stress Reduction
This class is meditative yoga class as well as an introduction to mindfulness based stress reduction. Instruction will include basic yoga postures with an emphasis on mindfulness, breathing practices, mediation, guided relaxation and expanded instruction in stress reduction strategies with a weekly topic of focus. The benefits of yoga include increased flexibility, strength balance, body awareness, as well as stress reduction. Stress reduction strategies can benefit both physical and emotional health and functioning.
