This course is an introduction to civil procedures in litigation, including pre-suit claims and notices, jurisdiction, service of process, venue, statutes of limitations, parties, and joinder. Rules governing pleading in complaints and answers are covered, as well as demurrers and amended pleadings. Computerized legal forms are introduced.
