ENGL 233 — Readings in the Novel
This is a course in the study and development of the novel emphasizing structure, theme, and style. Students will situate the study of the novel within larger political, cultural, historical, and philosophical trends to better understand its development and status. Representative novels from across the globe will be read and discussed.
