DANC 130B — Intermediate Choreography
Students will study choreographic techniques and styles used in dance composition as well as research current choreographers and their work. The study will include the structure and phrasing of movement appropriate to the meaning of a dance. The intermediate studies will include the use of compositional structures and choreographic tools used to manipulate movement phrases for formal concert presentations on the proscenium stage and their overall effect on the dance.
