CHIN 201 — Intermediate Chinese I
The course is the continuation of CHIN 102 . It develops students' linguistic and cultural competence while raising their awareness of the connection between language and culture to foster the development of communicative competence. Appreciation and interpretation of literary and cultural works as well as guided compositions are included. Students will further study Chinese history, culture, literature and art through lecture, discussion, research project, essay, and first-hand experience.
