CA 180 — Introduction to Baking Skills

This course introduces the student to basic baking techniques and basic ingredients utilized in the industry. The course will cover breads, sweet doughs, laminate doughs, pie doughs, fillings, cakes, and various pastries. This course aims to provide students with the basic ability to produce baked goods using various techniques and skills sets for bakers and pastry cooks in the food service industry.
