ADN 230 — Nursing Health and Illness Concepts 2

This course focuses on health and illness concepts for complex acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on concepts including oxygenation, homeostasis and regulation, protection and movement, and coping. Professional nursing concepts include selected professional attributes and care competencies. Curricular concepts are applied in seminar, lab and clinical settings. Upon completion, students will provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified.
