This course is designed to develop a working knowledge of basic accounting systems using a microcomputer and current software. The accounting functions covered will include structuring the chart of accounts; journalizing; posting to the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable subsidiary ledgers; the structure and preparation of financial statements. In addition, forecasting, budgeting, billing, cash, inventory and payroll modules will be utilized. This course will give students practical experience on the microcomputer
