RNSG 1036 — | HEALTH AND ILLNESS I
This course is a study of the nursing care of culturally diverse clients from young adulthood through later maturity. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of acid-base, metabolism, cellular regulation, oxygenation, infection, mobility, stress/ coping, health-wellness-illness, communication, caring interventions, managing care, safety, quality improvement, and informatics. Upon completion, students will be able to provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified in this course. Prerequisite: RNSG 1032, RNSG 1034 Co-requisite: BIOL 2117, BIOL 2117L
