METR 1101 — | INTRODUCTION TO QUALITY
STANDARDS, AND ISO 9000 (45-0-3) Outlines the history of national and international quality standards. This course emphasizes ISO-9000 and QS-9000 standards; costs and benefits of registration; implementation and upkeep; registrar selection. The registrar accreditation, auditor certification, and company registration will be discussed in detail. also covers the AC and DC standards used in a Standards laboratory. The applications of these standards that pertain to measurements will be emphasized. Multifunction calibrators and digital multimeters will also be covered.
