Minimum Total Hours 9 MILITARY MEDIC PERSONNEL TO LPN TRANSITION PROGRAM (ME91) Technical Certificate of Credit The Military Medical Personnel to Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Transition Program is designed to provide a structured, competency-based educational pathway for military medical personnel seeking licensure as practical nurses in Georgia. Recognizing the depth of knowledge and hands-on experience that military medics, corpsmen, and medical technicians bring to the program, in accordance with Senate Bill 449 (SB 449). This initiative is designed to provide qualified military medical personnel with a structured pathway to transition seamlessly into the role of an LPN in Georgia, leveraging their prior healthcare training and experience. Conditional Admission: Students must a Military Medical Personnel who has completed the GBON application requirements for licensure by examination and hold a provisional PN license by passing the NCLEX-PN national licensure examination within 12 months of beginning the transition program.
