CARP 1070 — | SITE LAYOUT, FOOTINGS, AND
FOUNDATIONS (30-30-3) Introduces the concepts and practices of basic site layout, footings, and foundation construction. Students will use layout equipment for on-site laboratory practice. Topics include: zoning restrictions and building codes, batter board installation, squaring methods, footings, plot plan interpretation, the nature of concrete, building layout, materials estimation, foundation types, foundation forms, and edge forms.
