WLF2204 — Wildland Incident Commander T4
This certification-related course is designed to meet the training needs of the wildland fire Incident Commander Type 4 (ICT4). Topics include foundation skills, intelligence gathering and documentation, sizing up the incident, developing a plan of action, post-fire activities, evaluating incident objectives, and managing the incident. The course includes classroom discussion and practical exercises. This suppression skills course must be taught to National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) standards for Initial Attack Incident Commander, to include course management, course content, prerequisites, and instructor qualifications.
