ENT 126 — Basic Computer Aided Drafting

Introduction to computer-aided drafting (CAD). Topics include a review of multi-view projection, and introduction to the CAD program, zooming, snapping, coordinate schemes, copying, moving, plotting, layers, trimming, breaking, blocking, inserting, and dimensioning. Upon completion of this course a student will be able to draw and dimension the views which are necessary for a clear and complete description of a rectilinear object using two-dimensional microcomputer techniques
