Medical Coding The Technical Certificate in Medical Coding is for students new to the medical field who wish to learn and develop skills that will assist them in preparing for a career in medical coding. Students will be exposed to a variety of issues relating to the healthcare field as well as common medical terminology which will relate to their future careers in medical coding. Upon completion of the TC in Medical Coding, students will be prepared to sit for the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification which is a requirement for future employment in the medical coding field.
