AB 1014 — Preparation and Refinishing
Corequisite: AB 1004 Non-Structural Repair/AB 1024 Estimating. Teaches skills and technical knowledge needed in the preparation of metal and plastics for modern basecoat, clear coat paint systems. Students are taught the use of materials involved in preparation, along with the use and maintenance of spray-painting equipment. Costume stripping, color combinations, detailing, applying the finish, and shop safety are presented.
