PE 217 - Current Issues in Sports PE 217 - Current Issues in Sports This course will students pursuing sports related careers understand the integral relationship between ethical issues in sports and society. Study of the current issues in sports s students to better appreciate the challenges faced by sports and evaluate decisions made by leaders in sports communities. Students examine key principles and concepts of sports ethics and the sociology of sports through case studies, examining research and trends, debate, and group discussions.
