NURS 112 - Nursing Concepts 1 NURS 112 - Nursing Concepts 1 Nursing Concepts 1 is an introductory course focusing on the study and practice of principles and skills basic to the nursing of all ages. The nursing process is introduced as the basis for nursing care. Human needs basic to all individuals will be identified with an emphasis on the nursing process as it is used to assist persons to meet basic needs they are unable to meet themselves. Principles of assessment and care as they relate to concept of stress, pain, immobility, infection and inflammation and pharmacology are also included.
