EMS100 — EMT-Basic

EMS 100 - EMT-Basic EMS 100 - EMT-Basic Prepares individuals to provide basic emergency care at the scene of an accident or illness and to stabilize and transport the patient to a facility providing definitive healthcare. The course will include the treatment of common medical emergencies and trauma injuries as well as the roles and responsibilities of emergency medical technicians (EMT-B). Upon satisfactory completion of the EMS 100 and EMS 102 courses, the student will be eligible to take the National Registry Exam. Concurrent enrollment in EMS 102 .

Prerequisites: MATH070, EMS102
