ECE 214 - ECE Practicum ECE 214 - ECE Practicum This course deals with the development, implementation, and evaluation of developmentally appropriate practice in the early childhood setting. Emphasis will be on curriculum and lesson planning, teaching, classroom management, guiding of children’s behavior, and professionalism. Students will work under the supervision of a cooperating teacher and college instructor. 150 hours of lab work will be required in a licensed early childhood setting. A current physical, TB test, background check, and/or finger printing may be required.
