PED217 — Basic Basketball Rules and Officiating Techniques

3 credits This course introduces the rules and techniques for sports officiating in high school basketball. Emphasis is placed on officiating fundamentals and responsibilities. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate proper mechanics and knowledge of officiating procedures in basketball. Note: Course may be used in Area V for AS/AA degrees
