HIT286 — Expanded Medical Coding

2 credits This course covers advanced guidelines of medical classification systems. The course focuses on coding techniques and coded data quality issues in relation to reimbursement systems and medical research. Upon completion, the student should be able to demonstrate proficiency in advanced coding systems.
