MTT 139 — BASIC COMPUTER NUMERICAL CONTROL

This course introduces the concepts and capabilities of computer numeric control (CNC) machine tools. Topics include setup, operation, and basic applications. Upon completion, students should be able to develop a basic CNC program to safely operate a lathe and milling machine. This course is aligned with NIMS certification standards. This course is also taught as CNC 139 and AUT 253.
