ABE055 — Essential RDG/WR
5 CR This intensive course s students develop English reading and writing skills including comprehension, vocabulary, study skills, organization of ideas and conventions of English language usage (grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and punctuation). Students will apply critical thinking skills such as analyzing and synthesizing ideas from authentic reading, as well as the development of central themes and main ideas in writing. Basic computer use is required.
