Total Hours Required 36.0 – 216.0 Certificate of Completion, Customer Service and Digital Literacy The Customer Service and Digital Literacy Certificate of Completion is designed to prepare students for the employment market at the entry-level in Essential Skills, Customer Service and Computer Digital Literacy in all sizes and types of organizations. The program covers developing skills essential in the workplace, gaining knowledge required to work in a customer-centered position, and learning about basic computer digital concepts. It also prepares student for a career in customer service as representative, personal assistant, associate, bank teller, and cashier, with knowledge in technology and standard office tools like Microsoft Office, email applications, search engines, social media, and team communications platforms. Upon completion of the required courses, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Completion in Customer Service and Digital Literacy. Program Level Outcomes Upon successful completion, the student will be able to: • Assess workplace scenarios that build the essential skills: communication, critical thinking, problem solving, ethics, and teamwork. • Demonstrate an understanding of trends in Customer Service for the 21 st Century. • Apply skills in the use of digital technology to access learning and career opportunities.
