PARA 1212 — Paramedic II Fundamentals and Lab
Sem: S 10 didactic hrs./5 lab hrs./week Prerequisite(s): PARA 1103 Paramedic Practicum I Clinical and PARA 1112 Paramedic I Fundamentals & Lab Corequisite: PARA 1203 Paramedic Practicum II Clinical This is the second combination didactic and laboratory course. The didactic portion for the course will include the following topics: respiratory and cardiology (continuing PARA 1112), pulmonology, neurology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, urology and nephrology, hematology, gynecology, obstetrics, neonatology, pediatrics, geriatric, psychological and emergencies, and trauma/shock. Fees for supplies, uniforms, insurance, background check and testing are required.
